I personally had my second son at Sinai! Well...kind of... he came out partially in the car/on the sidewalk outside. The care during pregnancy and postpartum was good! My only feedback is that they do sometimes have a lack of postpartum supplies and the food options postpartum are not the greatest.

I had my first son at Ascension and had a great experience. The reason I chose to switch was because my OB at the time had moved to the Mequon location (which is currently closing for patience). Living south of downtown Milwaukee at the time I would not have made it to the hospital 45 minutes north in time.
Why It Stands Out: Known as one of the premier places for maternity care in the Milwaukee area, Aurora West Allis Medical Center’s Pavilion for Women offers a supportive, family-focused environment. This facility emphasizes personalized care, making it a popular choice for many expectant parents.

Dedicated support for unmedicated births while also offering epidurals and other pain management options
Access to certified nurse midwives and OB-GYNs for a tailored experience
Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for specialized care
Lactation support and postpartum resources for new mothers
"Rooming-in" policy to promote bonding between parents and newborns
Things to Consider When Choosing a Birthing Place
Your Birth Plan: Does the facility align with your preferences for pain management, labor, and delivery?
Support System: Does the place allow your partner, doula, or other support people to be present?
Proximity: Is the location close to your home or work?
Specialized Services: If you have a high-risk pregnancy, make sure the facility has a NICU and specialists on staff.
